You make life POP shaker card

Hi Yall!!!  Did you know that the red poppy is a
symbol of both Remembrance and hope for a peaceful future?  I certainly am counting on the peaceful future part!
This beautiful Popping Poppies stamp set is the creation of Sabrina Leavell at Scrappy Tails Crafts The images in the set certainly POP and the large heart in the stamp set makes for a beautiful shaker card.  All the details for
this card are below
I started by coloring and die cutting the poppies from "Popping Poppies"

COPIC MARKER COMBINATIONS

Poppies (R89, R39, R37, R35, R14, YR15)

Leaves (YG67, YG17, YG03)

White Gel Pen to accent the flower centers

The card base is black card stock, layered with white and a piece of pattern paper covered with hearts.  I scalloped the edges of the white layer to give it a more festive look.

The coordinating die retains the solid center of the heart.  I decided to cut the inner portion of the heart out by tracing the edge with an xacto knife in order to make a shaker card.  How fun!  Then, I filled the shaker card with some sparkly goodies.  You know I LOVE anything that sparkles and glitters!

I cut an acetate sheet with the heart die in the Popping Poppies coordinating die set and glued it to the backside of the colored heart. I Used foam tape to pop up the top of the shaker.  Once the heart was attached to the card, I added some extra poppies. I Popped them up for a little more fun. I Just couldn't resist the sentiment.  "You Make Life POP", so true! I Trimmed part of the sentiment into a banner and used a scalloped punch to cut out the word 'POP'.

Beautiful shaker card. Very clever way to use that bold heart stamp!
