Wild Sunflower Card

Wild Sunflower Card

One of my favorite end of summer events is our trip to the wild sunflower fields. My husband and I started visiting a few years ago, and it happens to be one of the best memories we make each and every year. I can’t wait to go again in a few weeks. In the meantime, I will dream about them while crafting with the new Wild Sunflowers stamp set from Scrappy Tails Crafts.

I used the largest sunflower from the new Wild Sunflowers 6x6 stamp set. I centered it on my card panel and then colored it in with Copic markers.

To set off the image, I added a simple black frame and then matted with yellow card stock. I happen to love yellow, black, and white, so I couldn’t resist adding black and white stripes to the background with a pattern paper in my stash.

Finally, I white heat embossed the greeting from the same stamp set and blocked it off. So simple, yet so pretty!
