Watercolor Die Cutting

Watercolor Die Cutting

Hi Friends! For todays card, I used an A7 snow globe spinner add-on as a regular die from Scrappy Tails Crafts. The spinner add ons look great on regular flat card designs! The "A7 Heart Spinner" is such a beautiful die, I decided to make it the star of the show for todays card!
To start off, I die cut the floral heart from the A7 Heart Spinner die set with Distress watercolor card stock.
I grabbed my Nuvo shimmer powders in Violet Brocade and sprinkled in on top. Then, I sprayed it with water and repeated until I achieved my desired look. Then, I let it dry on its own.
Once my heart was completely dry, I die cut the same heart 3 more times from heavy weight white card stock and glued them together behind my watercolor heart. I die cut the solid heart shadow from heavyweight vellum to back behind my watercolor heart.
For my background panel, I took a mesh style Embossing Folder and ran that through my die cut machine. I used my Master layouts 1 & 2 to create the stiched mat & the lavender card stock layers.
After gluing my floral heart to the top center of my card, I added a sentiment along the bottom with foam tape underneath for dimension.
To finish the card off, I grabbed some flat back pearls that matched my watercolor powders and added them to the centers of all the florals.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Stop by Scrappy tails crafts for more products & inspiration from the Design team!
