Using Spring Dies for Christmas Cards

Hello Friends! I hope your day is great, today I wanted to share with you a lovely card I made with the new beautiful Layering Spring Birds die set. I love them they are very realistic and super easy to assemble! Instead of creating a Spring card with them, I opted to create a Holiday design.
PROJECT DETAILS:

For my card today I wanted to create a realistic scene with the two adorable birds in the layering birds die set.  I started by die cutting the birds with white card stock and adding color to them with Distress Oxide Inks in colors: Mustard Seed and Uncharted Mariner. I also added some smaller color details with Copic markers.
Then, I die cut some greenery from the Assorted Christmas Leaves die set and colored them with Mowed Lawn and Peeled Paint Distress Oxide Inks.
I adhered my scene to a light card blue panel. I blended the edges of the panel with the same Uncharted Mariner ink I used for the birds to add some color dramatic dimension.  I matted the blue panel with a white one and glued everyting onto a kraft card base.
Finally, I stamped a sentiment from the new Spread your Wings 6x8 stamp set, and added some watercolor splashes.
Thank you for stopping by today, I hope this inspires you to create something today! Have a great rest of your day!
