Two Hello Cards that POP with Poppy Flowers

Hello friends! I have had the Popping Poppies stamp set in my stash for quite some time, and it needed a little love. At the time, I just had to have this set, and then I lost it in my abyss of a studio! Does that ever happen to you? I’m so glad to show the two cards I made with this stamp set today. If you love them as much as I do, be sure to head on over to Scrappy Tails Crafts to pick one up for yourself. I am enabling you today, because it's on sale!
For my A2 sized card, I started by creating my own patterned paper by stamping the individual flowers from Popping Poppies around the border of a white card panel in black ink.
Next, I stamped the images again onto smooth card stock and colored them with Copic markers. After fussy cutting them out I arranged the flowers along the bottom left creating an eye pleasing trio.
Towards the center of the card I stamped my sentiment with the same black ink and embellished with clear rhinestones.
On the second mini slimline card, I added a modern twist to the design by including a geometric element. I used exactly the same colors and inks to create this card, but it most definitely is more clean and simple. For this card I added two black rectangle frames on a pink card panel to create three blocks to add my sentiment and individual flowers. I love how it turned out! Again, I embellished the card with more clear rhinestones.
