Rainbow Macarons Slimline Card
Hello Friends, Waleska here with a super fun rainbow slimline card! This card features the new and yummy desserts die set. this set is so unique and fun, perfect for Birthday cards too!
CARD DETAILS:
I started by die cutting all the pieces needed to create the macarons with heavy weight white card stock. I used my COPIC markers to color each one. I decided to go with rainbow colors, why not?!
I left the centers of each of my cookies white, but I did add some shading with a light grey marker.
For sugar details, I used a white gelly roll pen to draw some small dots on each of the macarons. Then, I adhered all the pieces together.
After assembling all of my macarons, I worked on my ink blended background panel. I used Distress Oxide inks in colors: Kitsch Flamingo, Candied Apple, Carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn, Salty Ocean, and Wilted Violet.
For interest, I splashed some water and adhered all the macarons, stacking them on top of each other. Lastly, I added a sentiment to the bottom of the card. I love this slimline design, I was able to fit every color in the rainbow!
