Popping Poppies Card
Hi Friends! Do you love flowers? The Popping Poppies 6x6 stamp set from Scrappy Tails is so beautiful! For my card today, I paired it with the Scalloped Heart die set to create an elegant clean and simple card design.
To start off, I die cut the largest pierced heart from the Scalloped Hearts die set from Savoy 100% Cotton Bright white from Cut card stock. Then, I dry embossed the heart using a leafy botanical Embossing Folder.
Next, I stamped images from the "Popping Poppies" stamp set onto 120lb Accent card stock. I colored them with my Copic markers in the colors:
RV52,R81,R83,R85
YG03,YG25 & YG17
Using the coordinating dies, I cut them all out.
To finish the stamped images off, I added some white gel pen highlights to the poppy centers.
Then, I glued my leaves directly to the heart & added foam tape behind the poppies.
The last thing I did was add a hot foiled sentiment, some Wink of Stella to the flowers and some clear baubles.
