Offsetting Coverplate Dies for a New Look

 Hi everyone!
Today I am sharing an A7 card I made using some new products from the Scrappy Tails newest "Tropical Bliss" release.
I die cut the new A7 Aloha Tropical Leaves Cover plate twice from 2 different shades of green card stock. I adhered them onto a 4 3/4" x 6 3/4" white panel and rotated one of them 180 degrees to off set the leaves and create a more full and dimensional look.
Next, I die cut the Parrot from several shades of blues and yellows to create a macaw. I paper pieced and assembled it using liquid adhesive, and glued it to the left side of the card panel.
Then, I die cut the Aloha sentiment from black and white card stock, and the flowers from two shades of pink card stock. I glued the aloha to the right at an angle, and I glued the small flowers towards the bottom of the leafy frame.
Finally, I adhered my panel to a yellow top folding A7 card base.
I hope you enjoyed my card today, thanks for stopping by!

I like this offset look and the pieced macaw. Very pretty card.
