Non-Traditional Hot Foil Christmas Card
Hi everyone, Ilina here! I am super excited about the new Scrappy Tails Countdown to Christmas Collection! There are so many amazing new products!
I had a hard time picking which product to use for today’s card. Ultimately, I decided to use the Hot Foil Poinsettia and the coordinating dies along with the Hot Foil Christmas Sentiments and the coordinating dies.
To make the card, start by gold foiling the poinsettias on teal card stock. Once they are foiled, die cut them using the coordinating dies. Repeat the process with the leaves but use light green card stock instead. Gold foil the sentiment on black card stock and die cut it out with the coordinating die. For added dimension, die cut the sentiment 2 more times from black card stock, so you can stack it up behind your foiled sentiment.
Now you can start assembling the card. Start with a piece of black card stock measuring 4” x 5 ¼” and arrange where you would like the flowers and leaves to be, also the sentiment. Once you are satisfied, use foam tape to adhere them. Using scissors cut off any pieces that hang off the panel.
