Mini Slimline Nutcracker Card

Hello Scrappy Tail Crafters! Waleska here, for my second post for the month for December! This is my first time using the Nutcracker Spinner Add on, and I have to say I love it! These nutcrackers are so fun to put together, you can paper piece them with so many different color combinations! I hope you like my card today!

CARD DETAILS:

To start this card, I cut all of the pieces that come in the Nutcracker Spinner Add on from different colors of card stock. The color combo I used was pink, red, black and gold.

I then cut the rounded rectangles that come in the Slimline Snow Globe Pop Up die from green and kraft card stock. I adhered the nutcracker on top of the rounded rectangle pieces.

I also cut some leaves from the Assorted Christmas Leaves die set from two different shades of green card stock. Using some Distress grit paste, I added some 'snow' to my various pine needles/greenery. I adhered them to the top and bottom behind the nutcracker. and I also added the leaves.

To finish this card, I glue everything to a kraft card base. For a pop of color, I added a white and red card stock panel. Using white acrylic paint,  I added some snowy splatter. Finally, for a bit of shine I added some gold 'berries' to my leaf clusters.  I love this card, and I hope you like it too, it was so much fun to create.  I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day, thank you so much for stopping by and Merry Christmas!
