Hello Friend Daisy Card
Happy Sunday, friends!! I have a friendship card to share today for Scrappy Tails Crafts!! Daisies are one of my favorite flowers, so I NEEDED these dies!!
I began by die-cutting the daisies and the daisy centers from the Whimsical Layering Daisies Die Set from white card stock. I added shading to them with Copic markers.
I also die-cut the sentiment from the A7 Heart Spinner Add-on die set, once from blue pearlescent card stock, and three times from heavy weight white card stock. I stacked and adhered them together for dimension.
The last thing I die cut was a scalloped border from the same blue pearlescent card stock. This die is from the Slimline Lace Borders Die Set.
I wanted to add some texture and dimension to the background, so I used the heart from the A7 Heart Spinner Add-on to emboss a panel of white card stock, before adhering it to a white top-folding card base.
I adhered the border along the left side of the card and trimmed off the excess. The sentiment was adhered in the lower, right hand corner. I adhered the centers of the daisies with liquid glue and popped the petals up with foam tape for dimension. Then I added A few blue iridescent gems to finish off the card!!
