Harvest Blessings Product Showcase

Our Harvest Blessings collection is officially available for purchase!  This release is full of elegant country style Fall images and Spooky Halloween images.
This is by far our largest collection to date. The reasoning is because I love both Fall and Halloween (especially Halloween). I wanted to represent each theme well, and give you plenty of options to choose from. Not to mention, I had so much fun designing, I just couldn't stop!
This release includes 3 new pop up die sets, 18 stand alone dies, 2 exclusive card kits, 3 stencils, 2 hot foil plates, 2 pattern paper pads and 4 stamp sets! That's quite a lot, let's take a look at some card designs I made using all the new goodies!

Product Showcase Video

Check out my product showcase video for a full product reveal and loads of inspiration! Stay tuned, I will have video tutorials for the new pop ups posting next week on the Scrappy Tails Youtube channel!

A7 Pop up Barn

Our A7 Pop up Storefront die set was a huge hit with our customers, so we decided to add on to our new "village series" with our second pop up, an A7 pop up barn die set! HMM.. series, that must mean there's more coming right?!

My first card today features the barn with no add-ons. The A7 Pop up Barn die set gives you everything you need to decorate a full barn including an adorable chicken coup at the top. With the dies, I created a simple, beautiful Winter barn, perfect for Christmas.

I left the sides blank, and added a simple "Warm Wishes" sign post to the back of the card.

Like our storefront, you can cut windows and a door to see through the card. I cut all the shadow layers from the front card base, and added acetate behind the cut outs to look like glass. To create the look of snow, I glued ultra fine glitter to the bottom parts of each window frame.

To step these cards up and transition them into home decor pieces- add a tea light, string lights or Amanda's Pear Blossom Press lights inside! I love that the lights illuminate the entire barn and helps make the "snow" pop even more!

To "Winterize" this barn, I added chunky and ultra fine glitter all over the roof. It turned out so beautiful!

Here's a look at this card completely lit up, I plan on including this barn in a cute Home decor Winter pop up village I'll make with the storefront and maybe another new die coming out for Christmas!

A7 Pop Up Staircase

Our new A7 Pop up Staircase (and our Slimline Pop up Staircase) our perfect for beginner pop up card makers. If you're looking to dip your toes into the pop up card making world, these pop ups are perfect for you! They step up your normal cards by adding tiered dimension tha\t can fold completely flat for mailing.

On each "step" of the staircase, you can add your stamped or die cut images. The staircase allows them to be lifted off your scene, it's so cool!

Use your cover plate dies with the staircase to build quick and easy scenes. I used our new "A7 Harvest Blessings Cover Plate" to decorate this card. I cut it from gold mirror card stock and backed the pumpkins with orange glitter paper. You can't have to much sparkle and shine, right?  To go with the beautiful pumpkins, I tucked some of our new "Assorted Fall Leaves" around the scene!

Slimline Pop up Staircase

The Slimline Pop up Staircase allows you to create horizontal slimline pop up cards. Again, you can use your cover plate dies to start building a scene. In this case, I used our new "Slimline Spider Web Cover Plate" in the background. I die cut it once from white card stock and once from black. I offset the two colors to create a subtle background to go on top of my black glitter slimline panel.

Here's a nice view of the card from above, you can see how your die cut images can "float" above your background. I added all three ghosts from our new "Spooky Ghosts" die set.

The front of the staircase was decorated with some corner webs and spiders from our new "Halloween Essentials" die set. Again, I offset the black and white webs to add more interest.

The center of the staircase features a silver mirror "Happy Halloween" sentiment from our new "Haunted Castle" die set.

Card One

Now that we've seen all the new pop up dies, lets share some more samples showcasing them in different ways! I love the staircases specifically because they can be used year round, you can use them to create any pop up scene for every Holiday and occasion!

This card showcases the "Slimline Pop up Staircase" very well, because each step has a different image popped up. This scene was practically already made for me because I used all the images included in our new "Slimline Countryside Cover Plate" die set. This set has everything you need to create a cute farm landscape.

This card came together so easily. I ink blended the background with some blue ink to create a sky. On it, I glued some clouds and a sun.

Then, I die cut my slimline staircase from green card stock. I inked around the edges of the staircase with a darker green ink to add extra dimension. On it, I arranged and glued all my little images to create a scene.

I die cut the countryside cover plate from white card stock and trimmed off the fence at the bottom. I used the white frame to go around my ink blended panel, and I used the fence to glue to the bottom of my staircase. On either side of the fence, I added a pig and a cow. Both of these are from our new "Barn Animals" die set.

Card Two

It's time for another spooky card! This one features our new "Haunted Castle" and "Cemetery Gate" dies. I paired them together to create this "spooktacular" scene.

This gate looks epic die cut from silver mirror card stock, I love it! I cut off the top cemetery sign so I could see more of the haunted castle. The set even includes the spooky skull and the lanterns!

The haunted castle and the lanterns were die cut from black card stock and backed with yellow. I like that the yellow made it look like it was glowing inside.

I die cut another haunted castle and cut it up to add smaller towers to my staircase. This extended the castle and made it look like a true haunted mansion!

To finish the scene, I adhered a spider web and a few bats to the top of the card.

Card Three

Now, lets showcase a more traditional barn! This one I die cut from a red plaid pattern paper, it added some nice interest! I die cut the shadow dies for the windows and door through the front card base so I could see my cute horse through the card. This horse is included in our new "Horsing Around" 6x8 stamp set. Behind the windows and door, I added acetate for a more professional look.

I love that the door can swing open, to reveal a hidden surprise inside. The die set even includes the horseshoes and star to decorate the front of your barn!

The sides of the barn feature a similar scene with a white fence, a hay bail and a rake (all included in the A7 pop up barn die set). On the other side, I replaced the rake with a windmill. I also added gold mirror roof shingles to the roof.

The back was decorated with a sentiment and a colt both from the same "Horsing Around" 6x8 stamp set.

Here's the card lit up with string lights, I absolutely love how the horse shines through!
