BOO! A Friendly Spooky Card

Hello peeps! Today I’d like to share with you a Halloween card I made with some of the new dies and stencils by Scrappy Tails Crafts!

 

 

I started by cutting a white panel to 4 x 5.25'. On it, I created my background by blending Seedless Preserves, Wilted Violet and Villainous Potion Distress Oxide inks through the "Wonky Spiderweb"  6x6 stencil. After blending, I splattered the panel with clean water, the same inks mixed with water, and white and gold Distress paints. For a more dramatic effect, I darkened the edges with Black Soot Distress ink.

 

 

I die cut all of the little ghosts from the "Friendly Mini Ghosts" die set from white card stock. I cut each ghost twice, and glued one above the other with some foam tape to add a bit of dimension. 

 

 

I laid out my mini ghosts, and a sentiment that I die cut from black glitter card stock using an alphabet die set from my stash. Once I was happy with my layout, I adhered everything together with liquid glue. I also added a few black and orange sequins here and there.
