Aurora Borealis Snowflake Background

Today I am sharing a Christmas card full of glittery colorful goodness! For my card today, I used a variety of Distress inks and the Slimline Snowflake Coverplate die from Scrappy Tails Crafts to create a quick and simple Winter card. I love it when a card comes together quickly, and when I say quickly, I mean as fast as you can throw down some ink colors, and for me, that means just a few minutes!

I ink blended Distress Oxide Inks in the colors: Blueprint Sketch, Saltwater Taffy, Seedless Preserves, and Peacock Feathers onto a smooth white slimline card panel. I also splattered the panel with white acrylic paint and set it aside to dry. From there, I cut the Slimline Snowflake Cover plate die from silver glitter card stock. I glued the cover plate onto my ink blended panel with liquid glue. Next, I stamped a sentiment from the Christmas Market 6x6 stamp set onto a white rectangle and glued it to the center of the card. As a finishing touch, I added a few pink baubles for even more shimmer and shine!
