Assorted Fall Leaves Slimline Card
Hello Friends! Waleska Galindo here today to share with you my card to celebrate the start of Autumn, one of my favorite Seasons. I love the colors, the falling leaves, and of course, the pumpkin pie! I hope my card today inspires you to start creating your own Fall cards this year!
To start my card, I cut the Slimline Woodgrain Background Metal die from kraft card stock. Then, I inked this panel with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide ink. To give this piece some texture, I mixed vintage photo oxide ink with water and using a small brush, I splattered the ink onto my panel
I cut two of the leaves that come in the Assorted Leaves Metal die set. I cut them several times from white card stock that I inked with Vintage Photo, Carved Pumpkin and Peeled Paint Distress Oxide inks, I also cut the outline of one of the leaves from gold card stock and glued them on to my solid leaves.
I cut an oval piece for my sentiment and started assembling my fall card. I added some gold pearls and adhered some leaves on the top and bottom of the front panel. I concentrated the majority of my leaves above the sentiment.
I cut a slimline card base from kraft cardstock and adhered the wood panel on top. I love the texture of the Slimline Woodgrain! I hope you have a wonderful day! Remember this and many other amazing products are available at the Scrappy Tails shop.
