Die Cut Holiday Floral Arrangement
My card focus today focuses on some of the new die sets. I combined the Outlined Poinsettias die set and the Assorted Christmas leaves to create my card. Here's a close up!
To make the card, I started by die cutting all the elements from different colored card stock. If you don't have colored card stock, you can always die cut your elements from white card stock and color it yourself with your ink pads or markers!.
Since I had my supplies out, I also cut a bunch of poinsettias and leaves for future projects, too.
I layered the die cuts that have two layers and let them dry. Then, I adhered a 4” x 5 ¼” piece of white card stock on a kraft card base. Once adhered, I stamped a sentiment from the Candle Light Poinsettia stamp set that was released in October last year.
Then, I arranged all of my die cuts to create a pretty cluster on the left side of my card panel. For a bit of shine, I added some matte gold pearls as a finishing touch to the center of my poinsettia.
