Butterfly Pop Up Vase Card

Hello Friends, it is time again for another post from me, Waleska!!!  I am very excited to share with you my project, today I used a bunch of fun dies from Scrappy Tails. You can find everything I used for today's card at the shop I hope you like it!
CARD DETAILS:
I started first with the vase of this fun Flower Vase Pop Up card. To do that, I die cut two of the main vase panels and attached them together with double sided tape on each tab. You can also check out Sabrina's youtube video for a more detailed explanation here.
I then used oxide inks in colors, Spun Sugar  and Picked Raspberry to color the vase. I also added some gold watercolor splatters and water splashes for more texture.  I also put the four inserts inside the vase so I could move on and start decorating my vase!
All of the popped up elements inside the vase are from the new "Spring Time Essentials" die set. This die set has so many images, you can put grass, flowers, Easter eggs, or butterflies inside your vase if you want! I opted to add a ton of butterflies! I
The die set includes two butterfly images, I decided to use the butterfly that looks like it's flying. I die cut each of the butterflies from gold cardstock. For the butterfly backings, I traced the butterflies on light pink, hot pink and red cardstock and fussy cut around them. I adhered the backings to the gold outlined butterflies.
To pop up my butterflies in the vase, I used clear packaging from a plastic container that I recycled and cut into thin strips. I adhered them to the back of some of my butterflies so they look like they are flying around this card.
I finally start assembling my card by adhering the butterflies all around the vase, I also adhered a gold XOXO word to a strip of the clear packaging and added that to the center of the vase, the words look like they are floating, so awesome!! By the way, the "XOXO" letters come with the pop up vase die set
Thank you so much for joining me today! I hope you have a wonderful weekend! Remember to check out the newest release from Scrappy Tail Crafts at the shop!
